Honeyed Mixed Citrus Peel Recipe
Ingredients
| Grapefruit | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Lemon peel | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Orange peel | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Chopped | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Honey | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) |
Directions
Place all the peel in a heavy saucepan and cover with 2 1/2 cups cold water.
Bring to a boil and simmer 10 minutes.
Drain and rinse with cold water.
Repeat process 5 times.
In a saucepan, combine honey and water.
Bring to a boil and cook about 3 minutes.
Add peel and boil until syrup is completely absorbed by the peel.
Store in jar in refrigerator.
