Ingredients

 2 medium-size honeydew melons (2 1/2 to 3 1/2 lbs./1.15 to 1.6 kg each)
 Litchi large can1 (Fruit:)
 10 to 16 strawberries, hulled and halved

 Lemon juice2 Tablespoon (Strawberry Sauce:)
 Sugar1 Tablespoon (Strawberry Sauce:)

Directions

1. Cut off top third of each melon. Scoop out seeds; scoop fruit into balls or chunks from shells and from top slices, removing as much melon as possible. Discard top slices.
2. Place melon pieces in a bowl. Drain litchis, reserving 1/2 cup (120 ml) of the syrup for the Strawberry Sauce (discard remaining syrup). Add litchis and halved strawberries to melon pieces; mix gently. Spoon fruit into melon shells.
3. To prepare strawberry sauce, in a blender or food processor, combine hulled whole strawberries, the 1/2 cup (120 ml) reserved litchi syrup, lemon juice, and sugar. Whirl until smooth.
