Honey-Spice Acorn Squash Recipe

Acorn squash - 3 medium
Butter or margarine - 1/4 cup, melted
Cinnamon - 1/4 teaspoon
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Ginger - 1/4 teaspoon
Honey - 1/3 cup
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat oven to 375F.
2) Scrub the squash.
3) Cut lengthwise in half; remove seeds and stringy fibers.
MAKING
4) In a shallow baking pan, arrange the squash qith cut side down.
5) Surround with 1/2 inch hot water.
6) Bake for 30 minutes.
7) In a bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
8) Pour off excess liquid from baking pan; turn squash cut side up.
9) Pour sauce into cavities; bake 15 minutes, basting ocassionaly with sauce.
