Honey-Date Bars Recipe
Ingredients
| Flour | 5 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1⁄8 Teaspoon | |
| Baking powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Dates | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Pecans | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Honey | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
| Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Eggs | 3 | |
| Powdered sugar | 1 |
Directions
Sift flour, sugar, salt and baking powder together.
Combine dates and pecans; sift flour mixture over.
Add honey, vanilla and eggs; stir until mixed.
Pour into greased 111/4x7 1/2-inch pan.
Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes.
Cool in pan.
Cut in bars; roll in powdered sugar.
