Ingredients
2/3 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup strained honey
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup sour cream
5 cups cake flour
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon salt
Directions
Cream shortening with sugar.
Add honey and blend.
Combine egg and sour cream and add to shortening mixture.
Sift dry ingredients and add to liquid.
Form with cookie mold or drop from teaspoon and flatten with a knife.
Bake 15 minutes at 350°F.
Makes 130 2 inch cookies.
