| Soda | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Butter/Other shortening | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Packed brown sugar | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Granulated sugar | 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) | |
| Honey | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 1 | |
| Grape nuts flakes | 2 Cup (32 tbs) | |
| Post sugar krinkles/Post sugar crisp | 2 Cup (32 tbs) | |
| Coconut | 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Preferably Baker's) |

Directions
Place shortening, sugars, honey, egg, and flour in a large mixing bowl.
Mix well.
Add cereals and coconut.
Mix thoroughly.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet.
Bake in a moderate oven (375°F.) for about 10 minutes, or until done.
Cookies will become crisp when cold.
