Honey Apple Butter Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 quarts tart cooking apples with skins | ||
| Cinnamon | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Allspice | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Mace | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Honey | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/2 lemon, juice and grated rind | ||
| 2 cups mint vinegar | ||
Directions
Core and slice apples.
Put with all other ingredients into large kettle.
Cook slowly for several hours, stirring frequently, until thick.
Pour into hot sterilized jars.
Seal.
