Ingredients

 6 to 8 pounds back or side ribs
 Thyme1 Teaspoon
 Oregano2 Teaspoon
 Garlic powder2 Tablespoon
 Salt2 Tablespoon
 Ground pepper2 Tablespoon
 Garlic powder1 Tablespoon (Sauce:)
 Black pepper1 Tablespoon (Sauce:)
 Dry mustard1 Teaspoon (Sauce:)
 2 tablespoons each Worcestershire sauce, vinegar and soya sauce
 1/2 cup bottled steak sauce
 White wine3 Tablespoon (Sauce:)
 1/2 cup Chinese plum sauce
 1-16 ounce jar liquid honey
 Molasses3 Tablespoon (Sauce:)

Directions

Place ribs in a large pot, cover with water and add next 5 ingredients.
Bring to boil and simmer 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and allow to cool, covered, for one hour in the liquid.
Meanwhile, mix together the sauce ingredients and blend well.
Remove ribs from liquid and place on a broiler pan rack.
Brush both sides of ribs with sauce and bake at 400°F until nicely browned, approximately 15 minutes.
Serve with remaining sauce.
Marvellous after skiing all day.
