Honey-Oat Biscotti Recipe
I have always felt that this Honey-Oat Biscotti with honey, oats and nut was exclusively meant for me. Honey-Oat Biscotti has everything I like. My favorite snack!
Ingredients
1/2 cup (120 ml) butter or margarine
3/4 cup (180 ml) honey
2 eggs
1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla
2 cups (480 ml) flour
3 tsp (15 ml) ground cinnamon
1 tsp (5 ml) baking powder
1/2 tsp (3 ml) baking soda
1/2 tsp (3 ml) salt
2 cups (480 ml) rolled oats
1/2 cup (120 ml) chopped nuts
Directions
Cream butter; beat in honey, eggs and vanilla.
Combine flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda and salt; mix well.
Stir into butter mixture.
Stir in oats and nuts.
On greased baking sheet shape dough into 2 - 10x3xl-inch logs.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cool 5 minutes; remove to cutting board.
Cut each log into 1/2-inch strips; place on cookie sheet.
Bake at 300°F (150°C) for 25-30 minutes or until crisp throughout.
Cool thoroughly.
Combine flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda and salt; mix well.
Stir into butter mixture.
Stir in oats and nuts.
