Honey Grapefruit Granita Recipe

Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
4 cups fresh pink grapefruit juice (about 10 large grapefruit)
1/3 cup honey
Directions
1. Combine sugar and water in a medium saucepan, and stir well. Bring to a boil, and cook 1 minute or until sugar dissolves, stirring constantly. Combine sugar syrup and grapefruit juice in a large bowl; stir well, and set aside.
2. Place honey in a small bowl. Microwave at HIGH 30 seconds or until warm. Add to juice mixture; stir well. Pour mixture into a 13- x 9-inch baking dish; cover and freeze at least 8 hours or until firm.
3. Remove mixture from freezer, and scrape entire mixture with the tines of a fork until fluffy. Spoon into a freezer-safe container; cover and freeze up to 1 month.
