Honey Ginger Barbecued Ribs Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 to 5 pounds pork spareribs | ||
| Chicken broth | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Soy sauce | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Ketchup | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Pineapple juice | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Honey | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger or 1 teaspoon minced fresh gingerroot | ||
| Honey | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) (GLAZE:) | |
| Soy sauce | 2 Tablespoon (GLAZE:) | |
| 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger or 1 teaspoon minced fresh gingerroot | ||
Directions
Place ribs on a rack in a shallow baking pan; cover with foil.
Bake at 325° for 1-1/2 hours; cool.
In a bowl, combine the broth, soy sauce, ketchup, pineapple juice, honey, garlic, pepper and ginger.
Place ribs in a gallon-size resealable plastic bag; add marinade.
Seal bag; refrigerate overnight, turning occasionally.
Drain and discard marinade.
In a small bowl, combine glaze ingredients; set aside.
Grill ribs, uncovered, over medium heat for 20-25 minutes or until heated through, brushing with glaze during the last 10 minutes.
