Honey Flavored Pork Chops Recipe
Ingredients
8 3/4 inch (2 cm) thick pork chops
Garlic salt and pepper
1 tbsp (15 ml) oil
1 tbsp (15 ml) butter
1/4 Cup (60 ml) liquid honey
1/4 Cup (60 ml) white wine or cider
Directions
– Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
– Remove excess fat from pork chops; season with garlic salt and pepper.
– In a skillet, heat oil and melt butter; cook pork chops for a few minutes; transfer to oven-proof dish; add 2 tbsp (30 ml) liquid honey to mixture; cover with aluminum foil; bake 20 minutes.
– Baste with rest of honey; cover; cook 15 minutes longer.
– Add white wine or cider; cook, uncovered, 10 minutes.
