Honey Candy Bites Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Milk | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 cup instant-type flour | ||
| 3/4 cup liquid honey | ||
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Vanilla extract | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Flaked coconut | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Crisp rice cereal | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Flaked coconut | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Make several days ahead:
1. In medium saucepan melt butter; stir in milk, flour, honey, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture leaves sides of pan and forms a ball; remove from heat.
2. Stir in vanilla, 1 1/2 cups coconut, and cereal.
3. Shape into 1-inch balls; roll in 1/2 cup coconut.
Refrigerate until served. Makes about 3 dozen.
