Ingredients

 Warm water1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Sugar1 Teaspoon
 Granular or compressed yeast-1 package
 Shortening1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Sugar1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Flour3 Cup (16 tbs), sifted
 Water3/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Egg1 , Well beaten
 Honey1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Nuts1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped

Directions

MAKING
1) Mix together warm water and 1 teaspoon sugar and add yeast to it. Leave it for 5 minutes.
2) In a bowl, mix together shortening, 1/2 cup sugar and salt. Add 1 cup flour and 3/4 cup water.
3) Mix it with yeast mixture. Add 2 cups flour and egg. Mix well.
4) Cover and refrigerate overnight.
5) Take muffin pans and grease them. Put 1 teaspoon each honey and nuts in them.
6) Put 1 tablespoons of dough in each muffin cup. Let it rise until double.
7) Now, bake at 375 degrees at 12 to 15 minutes.

SERVING
8) Let the honey buns cool and serve them bottom up.
