Hominy with Green Chilies Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1 , chopped | |
| Green chilies | 1 Can (10oz), chopped | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), chopped | |
| 2 1-lb. cans hominy, drained | ||
| Cumin | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Sour cream | 1/2 Pint | |
| Sharp cheddar cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Saute onion in 2 tablespoons fat until tender; add chilies, garlic, hominy, cumin, salt and pepper.
Place in saucepan over medium heat until heated through.
Add sour cream; fold in cheese.
Pour into greased casserole.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until bubbly.
