Hominy With Chiles And Cheese Recipe
Ingredients
| Hominy | 2 Can (10oz), drained, rinsed | |
| Green chiles | 1 Can (10oz), chopped | |
| 1/2 cup commercial sour cream, divided | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Teaspoon, divided | |
| Shredded monterey jack cheese | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Milk | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Layer half of hominy and half of chiles in a lightly greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Dot with 1/4 cup sour cream and 1 teaspoon butter.
Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.
Repeat layering procedure with remaining hominy, green chiles, sour cream, and butter.
Sprinkle with cheese, and pour milk over the casserole.
Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 minutes.
