Directions
1)Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
MAKING:
2)Place butter in a 9 x 13 deep dish. Place into oven to melt.
3)In a large mixing bowl, add sugar, self-rising flour and milk. Mix until well combined.
4)Remove baking dish from oven and carefully pour in the batter to cover the whole bottom without mixing it.
5)Then pour the peaches over the batter without stirring. You may pour in the syrup or leave it out. It is very good either way.
6)In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon.
7)Sprinkle on top of the cobbler. Bake in the oven for 45 - 60 minutes or until the crust is browned.
SERVING:
8)Serve in a bowl with ice cream.
