Homemade Margarita Pizza Recipe Video
Do you love Las Vegas - really who doesn't? Watch this episode of the RV Cooking Show and see the sights then learn the secret to preparing personal pizzas on the grill. (No, the dough does not oouze thru the grill grates.)
Ingredients
1 round of large pizza dough - cut in quarters
olive oil
toppings of your choice - consider a margarita pizza (olive oil base with fresh garlic, crushed red peppers, grated parmesan cheese, fresh sliced tomatoes, thinly sliced mozzerella cheese (fresh if possible), fresh torn basil to top cooked pizza), a bbq chicken pizza (bbq sauce base with cooked chicken breast chunks, grated jack/cheddar cheese, red onions, scallions - green and white parts, cilantro to taste), a thai pizza (peanut sauce base with cooked chicken breast chunks, peppers and cliantro to taste) or a goat cheese and artichoke heart pizza (olive oil base with a sprinkle of rosemary, fresh goat cheese medallions and marinated artichoke hearts)...mmm - let your imagination run wild!!
Directions
MAKING
1) Roll the dough and make 4 thin crusts.
2) Brush some oil on one side.
3) Put the oil side down on medium heat grill and cook for one minute or until golden brown.
4) Top the grilled side with barbecue sauce, onion, cheese chicken breast and scallions.
5) Put the pizza on grill and close lid and cook for three to four minutes or until toppings are melted and bubbling.
SERVING
6) Serve the pizza hot and enjoy!!
TIPS
