Ingredients
| Apples | 4 Cup (16 tbs), peeled | |
| Raisins | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Brown sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Ground cinnamon | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground nutmeg | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 1/4 cup quick-cooking rolled oats | ||
| All purpose flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 pint vanilla ice milk | ||
Directions
In a medium bowl combine apples and raisins, then toss with lemon juice.
Stir together 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1/3 teaspoon cinnamon, and nutmeg; sprinkle over apple mixture.
Toss gently to coat.
Place in a 1-quart casserole.
Cover and bake in a 375° oven for 25 minutes.
Meanwhile, stir together oats, flour, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.
Cut in margarine till mixture resembles coarse crumbs; sprinkle over apple mixture.
Return to the oven and bake, uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes more or till apples are tender.
Serve warm with ice milk.
