Ingredients

 2 portions of vanilla ice cream
 Plain chocolate4 Ounce
 Water1 Tablespoon
 Butter1/2 Ounce
 Toasted almonds1 Tablespoon
 Wafer biscuits

Directions

Heat the oven to 350 °F (Gas Mark 4, 180°C).
Break up the chocolate into a heatproof dish, add the water and place on the lowest shelf of the oven for 12 minutes to melt.
Remove from the oven and beat till smooth, adding the butter.
Scoop the ice cream into sundae glasses, pour over the hot chocolate and sprinkle with toasted almonds.
Serve with wafer biscuits [cookies].
