Hollandaise Sauce Recipe

Try out this Hollandaise Sauce for once ! You are sure to remain loyal to it forever! Best enjoyed as a Side Dish this recipe was taught to me by a dear friend who also happens to be a great chef. When it comes to cooking I am my worst critic. Kindly comment and let me know how is this Hollandaise Sauce.

Ingredients

 
2 egg yolks
 
3 tbsp. lemon juice
 
1/2 cup very cold butter (1 stick or 1/4 lb.)

Directions

In small saucepan, stir together egg yolks and lemon juice with wooden spoon.
Add half of butter (1/2 stick).
Stir over very low heat until butter is melted.
Add rest of butter.
Continue stirring until butter is melted and sauce thickened. (Be sure butter melts slowly as this gives eggs time to cook and thicken the sauce without curdling.)
