Holiday Triangles Recipe
Ingredients
| Pecans | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Fruit | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), candied | |
| 1 1/4 cups all purpose white flour | ||
| Whole wheat flour | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking soda | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground cloves | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Allspice | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Nutmeg | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Cinnamon | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Butter | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/4, cup packed brown sugar | ||
| Egg | 1 , beaten | |
| Honey | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Buttermilk | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 recipe Bourbon Glaze | ||
| Multicolored candy sprinkles | ||
Directions
Mix pecans and fruit.
Combine flours, soda, salt, and spices; sprinkle over fruit and nut mixture.
Cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
Beat in egg.
Add honey and buttermilk alternately with flour and nut mixture; mix well.
Spread on greased jelly-roll pan.
Bake in preheated 375 °F oven 15 minutes or until done.
Remove from oven.
Frost cake with Bourbon Glaze.
Sprinkle with candy sprinkles.
Cut into triangular bars; remove from pan while still warm
