Holiday Cinnamon Apple Mold Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 cup red cinnamon candies
1 cup boiling water
3 oz. pkg. lemon-flavored gelatin
1 1/4 cups thick sweetened applesauce
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup salad dressing or mayonnaise
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup chopped celery
Directions
In saucepan, heat cinnamon candies in boiling water until dissolved, stirring constantly.
Add gelatin; stir to dissolve.
Stir in applesauce.
Pour half of gelatin mixture into 9x5 inch loaf pan; chill until firm.
Cool remaining gelatin until slightly thickened.
In bowl, combine cream cheese with salad dressing; add nuts and celery.
Spread over firmly set gelatin.
Pour remaining gelatin over cheese layer; chill until firm.
Cut in slices to serve.
