|Cherries||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), candied|
|Miniature marshmallows||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), coarsely chopped|
|Flaked coconut||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|

In a 3-quart saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa, corn syrup and milk.
Cook over moderate heat until sugar dissolves and mixture begins to boil.
Continue cooking over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture reaches soft-ball stage or 238°F (114°C) on a candy thermometer.
Remove from heat.
Add butter or margarine and vanilla, but do not stir.
Cool to lukewarm.
Beat until creamy.
Stir in candied cherries, marshmallows, nuts and coconut
Pour into prepared pan.
Cut into squares when cool.
