Directions

Place items in breadmachine in order written. Set to bread dough
setting and make sure the 'fruit and nut' beep/indicator is ON!

When notified add dried fruit of your choosing. We like Organic
Cranberries and Organic Dates (as you'll see in the video).
After first rise and punch down, shape into loaf and let rise until
doubled.

Bake in 350 degree oven for 18-20 minutes, checking for done by
tapping top for that hollow sound.

This is great toasted or as french toast, in smaller loaves as
gifts or as a bread pudding (if it lasts that long).

Hi Donna! This looks delicious and I am getting ready to try it out this Christmas. Since I don't have instant yeast, but just the dry powdered kind, could you say how much I should use to replace the instant yeast? Looking forward to hearing from you! Blessings, Liz

About the French Toast...(o: In a shallow baking dish combine approx 4 eggs, 1/2 tsp vanilla and 1/2 C milk. Mix well. Heat griddle and have it sprayed/greased and ready to go. Place each slice of Holiday Eggnog Bread in the mix for 30 seconds then flip for 30 seconds to the other side. Transfer to griddle and turn over when they've gotten golden brown. Serve with syrup and enJOY! Best Blessings! Donna

Lacking a breadmachine the instructions are: Combine all wet ingredients plus sugar and yeast first in a LARGE bowl, mix to disolve sugar. (not salt yet) Combine fruits, nuts and all remaining ingredients (spices, salt etc) with flour and make sure they are well mixed. Adding 1 cup at a time of flour mixture mix into the wet, the dough will be sticky and become more 'bread dough' like with each cup. Once all combined, turn out onto a floured surface and knead for a minimum of 10 minutes. Let rise, covered in a well greased bowl until doubled in size. Punch down to release ALL air bubbles, flatten and roll up like in the video and the rest is the same! Have fun and enJOY! Best Blessings! Donna
