Hoisin Flavored Beef Steak Recipe
Ingredients
| Flank steak | 1 pound | |
| Oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
| 1/2 onion, cut in thin strips | ||
| Ripe tomatoes | 4 , sliced | |
| Soy sauce | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Wine | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Oil | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Water | 1 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Cornstarch | 1 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Egg white | 1/2 | |
| 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) baking soda (optional) | ||
| Hoisin sauce | 1 1 /2 Tablespoon | |
| Catsup | 1 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
1. Trim off excess fat and membrane on beef surface. Cut into 2" x 2" x 14" (5 cm x 5 cm x 0.75 cm) squares; marinate for 30 minutes.
2. Stir-fry onion in 1 tablespoon oil for 1 minute over high heat and set aside. Remove from pan.
3. Heat a non-stick pan with 2 tablespoons oil. Brown beef slices for 1 1/2 minutes over medium-high heat on each side, slightly pressing down on beef for uniform browning.
4. Add sauce mixture and cooked onions and mix well.
