Hilo Fillet Of Sole Recipe
Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs. sole fillets (boneless)
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. grated onion
1 1/2 tsp. water
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. seasoned salt
1 tbs. finely chopped parsley
1/3 cup chopped Hawaiian macadamia nuts or slivered almonds
Directions
Wipe fillets with damp cloth and sprinkle with salt.
Roll and secure with toothpick.
Place rolls in steamer or on wire rack above boiling water, cover and steam 15 mins.or until fish is opaque.
Mix together onion, mayonnaise, lemon juice, seasoned salt and parsley.
Carefully remove fillets from steamer and quickly spread each with mayonnaise mixture.
Top each with nuts and serve immediately.
