High Fiber Chili Recipe
Ingredients
| Lean ground beef | 1 Pound | |
| Onion | 1 Large, sliced | |
| Green pepper | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| 2 cup Kellogg's branflakes cereal | ||
| Tomato sauce | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 3/4 cup cooked red kidney beans, not drained | ||
| 2 cup whole peeled tomatoes, not drained | ||
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Chili powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Dash garlic powder | ||
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Bay leaf | 1 | |
Directions
In a large saucepan, cook beef, onion and green pepper until meat is browned, stirring frequendy.
Drain off excess drippings.
Stir in the remaining ingredients.
Cover and simmer over low heat about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
