Herring In Sour Cream Recipe

| 1 medium onion, sliced with the slicing disk | ||
| Whole black peppercorns | 24 To taste | |
| Bay leaves | 2 , crushed | |
| Sour cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 3 tablespoons sauterne | ||
Directions
Cut fillets into bite-size pieces.
Combine in a bowl with onion, pepper, and bay leaves.
Mix sour cream and wine and stir into fillet mixture.
Cover and refrigerate for 4 to 8 hours before serving.
Keeps for 1 or 2 days.
