Herring Cream Dip Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 matjas herring fillets | ||
| Onion | 1 | |
| Apple | 1 | |
| Parsley sprigs | 3 | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| black pepper | 1 | |
| Sour cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/2 cup plain Greek type yoghurt | ||
| Black olives | 6 (GARNISH) | |
| Parsley | 1 Tablespoon, chopped (GARNISH) | |
Directions
Cut the herring fillets into 3-4 pieces, place them in the work bowl and process for 5 seconds.
Cut the onion and the peeled apple into chunks and add to the herring, process for 3 seconds.
Add the remaining ingredients except the garnish and process for 3-5 seconds.
Transfer to a bowl and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Serve on a decorative dish, garnished with olives and chopped parsley
