Herbed Vegetables Recipe

Ingredients
2 tbsp. butter
3 cups thinly sliced carrots
2 cups thinly sliced celery
1/2 cup slivered green pepper
2 tsp. sugar
2 tbsp. water
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
1/4 tsp. dried leaf tarragon
Directions
Combine butter, carrots, celery, green pepper, sugar and water in large skillet.
Cover tightly (use aluminum foil if pan doesn't have a lid).
Cook aver moderate heat about 7 minutes, shaking the pan often.
Add a little nore water if necessary to keep from turning.
Add salt, pepper, parsley and tarragon, stir lightly with a fork and continue cooking, covered, until vegetables are tender-crisp, about 3 minutes.
Serve immediately.
