Herbed Corn on the Cob Recipe Video

Enjoy Lisa's quick and easy Herbed Corn on the Cob with any meal. As always, it's best to use fresh, but frozen corn can be used for this recipe.

Ingredients

 
1 large baking bag
 
1 T. flour
 
2 T. Parmesan cheese
 
1/2 tsp. basil or rosemary
 
1/2 tsp. salt
 
1/8 tsp. pepper
 
1/2 cup water
 
1/4 cup butter
 
3-4 ears of corn

Directions

In the baking bag, combine the flour, Parmesan, basil or rosemary, salt and pepper. Shake the bag to mix. Add water and butter. Squeeze the bag to combine all of the ingredients. Add the corn. Press the bag onto and around the corn to coat it with the butter mixture. Close the bag using the tie that came with it. Place the bag into a baking dish and cut 6 slits into the bag. Cook in the microwave on high for 6-10 minutes.

If name of recipe is in English-no need to repeat it! Fixed it for you. I often grill corn on the cob in the husks. Always soak in ice cold water for at least 30 minutes prior to grilling. Unlike tomatoes which should NEVER be refrigerated as it turns the sugar (brix count) to starch, corn is the opposite. To stop the sugars from turning to starch after picking they must be chilled big time! So do not chill or put tatoes in the frig and chill corn! Keep those fresh veggies fresh and sweet Shanti/Mary-Anne
