Herbed Wild Rice Recipe
Ingredients
| Wild rice | 1 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Butter | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), melted | |
| Onion | 1 Teaspoon, grated | |
| 1/4, teaspoon each of pepper and ground sage | ||
| Ground thyme | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Rinse wild rice thoroughly in running water.
Cover with water and bring to a boil.
Drain and rinse.
Cover with water again, add salt, and simmer until tender, about 30 minutes.
Drain and rinse in hot water.
Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
