Herbed Tomato Slices Recipe
Ingredients
| Salad oil | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 tablespoons wine vinegar with tarragon | ||
| Few leaves fresh thyme and marjoram, or 1/4 teaspoon each of dried | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Dash coarse black pepper | ||
| 3 tomatoes, peeled and sliced | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) In a bowl, mix the salad oil, herbs, vinegar, salt and pepper together.
2) In a shallow bowl, place the sliced tomatoes and pour over the herbed dressing.
3) Refrigerate for 2-3 hours, spoon the dressing over the tomatoes frequently, then drain well.
SERVING
4) Serve immediately.
