Ingredients

 Salad oil1/3 Cup (16 tbs)
 2 tablespoons wine vinegar with tarragon
 Few leaves fresh thyme and marjoram, or 1/4 teaspoon each of dried
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 Dash coarse black pepper
 3 tomatoes, peeled and sliced

Directions

MAKING
1) In a bowl, mix the salad oil, herbs, vinegar, salt and pepper together.
2) In a shallow bowl, place the sliced tomatoes and pour over the herbed dressing.
3) Refrigerate for 2-3 hours, spoon the dressing over the tomatoes frequently, then drain well.

SERVING
4) Serve immediately.
