Herbed Tomato Pork Chops and Stuffing Recipe
Ingredients
| Vegetable oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 4 boneless pork chops, 1/2 inch thick | ||
| Stewed tomatoes | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Tomato sauce | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Green bell pepper | 1 Medium, chopped | |
| Oregano leaves | 1/2 Teaspoon, dried | |
| Ground pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 2 cups Stuffing Mix for Chicken in the Canister | ||
| Shredded mozzarella cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs), divided | |
Directions
HEAT oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add chops; brown on both sides.
STIR in tomatoes, tomato sauce, green pepper, oregano and ground pepper. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 15 minutes or until chops are cooked through. Remove chops from skillet.
STIR Stuffing Mix Pouch and 1/2 cup of the cheese into skillet. Return chops to skillet. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese; cover. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes.
