Herbed Tomato Juice Recipe
Ingredients
| Tomatoes | 3 Pound | |
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onion | 1 , sliced | |
| Celery stick | 1 , sliced | |
| Dried basil sprig | 4 | |
| Parsley sprigs | 3 | |
| Bay leaf | 1/2 | |
| Salt | 1 Pinch | |
| Pinch paprika | ||
| Dash Worcestershire sauce | ||
| Sherry | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Lemon juice | ||
Directions
Put the tomatoes into a pan with the water, onion, celery and herbs.
Simmer until the tomatoes have broken up.
Strain, then season to taste with salt, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, sherry and a dash of lemon juice.
Pour into a glass and chill before serving.
