Herbed Green Beans Recipe

Ingredients

1-1/2 pounds fresh green beans
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon salt, optional
1-1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon paprika

How to make Herbed Green Beans

In a saucepan, cover beans with water; cook until crisp-tender.
Meanwhile, in a skillet, saute the onion in butter until tender.
Add the lemon juice, parsley, salt if desired, thyme and paprika.
Drain beans; add herb butter and stir to coat.
