Herbed Buttermilk Dressing Recipe
Ingredients
| Buttermilk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 tablespoons each chopped parsley and minced onion | ||
| 1/4 teaspoon each dry basil, oregano leaves, dry rosemary, and savory leaves | ||
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), pressed | |
| Mayonnaise | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 8 ounces blue-veined cheese, crumbled (optional) | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
In a bowl, combine buttermilk, parsley, onion, basil, oregano, rosemary, savory, and garlic; let stand for 5 minutes.
Beat in mayonnaise and season to taste with salt and pepper.
If made ahead, cover and refrigerate.
Store for as long as 1 week.
Before serving, gently stir in cheese, if you wish
