Ingredients

 Buttermilk1 Cup (16 tbs)
 2 tablespoons each chopped parsley and minced onion
 1/4 teaspoon each dry basil, oregano leaves, dry rosemary, and savory leaves
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm), pressed
 Mayonnaise1 Cup (16 tbs)
 8 ounces blue-veined cheese, crumbled (optional)
 Salt To Taste
 Pepper To Taste

Directions

In a bowl, combine buttermilk, parsley, onion, basil, oregano, rosemary, savory, and garlic; let stand for 5 minutes.
Beat in mayonnaise and season to taste with salt and pepper.
If made ahead, cover and refrigerate.
Store for as long as 1 week.
Before serving, gently stir in cheese, if you wish
