Herbed Bread With Tomatoes Recipe
|Tomato||1 Large, thinly sliced|
|Italian bread loaf||1 (Use Crusty Italian Bread)|
|Olive oil||4 Teaspoon|
|Finely chopped fresh basil/2 teaspoons dried sweet basil||2 Tablespoon|
|Dried marjoram/Dried oregano||2 Teaspoon|
|Grated parmesan cheese||2 Tablespoon|

Slice tomatoes and set aside.
Slice bread in half lengthwise.
Drizzle 1 tablespoon olive oil and half the herbs over both halves of bread.
Wrap loaf in foil and heat in oven 10 minutes.
Remove from oven and layer each half with sliced tomatoes; sprinkle with remaining herbs, oil, and Parmesan cheese.
Place under broiler until bread is lightly browned.
