1/4 cup cracker crumbs
 
2 tablespoons wheat germ
 
1 tablespoon bran
 
1 teaspoon basil
 
1/2 teaspoon thyme
 
2/3 pound abalone steaks
 
2 tablespoons skim milk
 
Lemon wedges (garnish)
 
Parsley sprigs (garnish)

Directions

In a shallow bowl, mix together the cracker crumbs, wheat germ, bran, basil, and thyme.
Dip the abalone into the skim milk.
Then dip into the crumb mixture until coated.
Arrange the abalone in a shallow baking dish or a baking sheet lightly coated with no-stick spray.
Bake at 375° for about 15 minutes or until the abalone is opaque and baked through.
