Herb-Stuffed Trout Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 8-oz. package herb-seasoned stuffing mix
1 tbsp. minced onion
1/2 tsp. ground thyme
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 3-lb. trout
1 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
Directions
Combine stuffing mix, onion, thyme, butter and 1/4 cup hot water; blend well.
Rub cavity of trout with salt and pepper; fill with stuffing.
Secure opening.
Rub with additional butter; place on rack in baking pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until trout flakes easily with a fork.
