Herb Millet Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

 
1 cup millet
 
2 tablespoons oil
 
1/2 cup diced carrots
 
1/2 cup diced celery
 
1 teaspoon savory salt
 
1/21 teaspoon herb seasoning
 
3 cups water

Directions

In a medium saucepan, lightly brown the millet in oil.
Add carrots and celery.
Stirfry for 1 minute.
Add the salt, herb seasoning, and water.
Bring to a boil, cover, and reduce heat to low.
Simmer for 30 minutes or until millet is tender.
NOTE: Other grains may be substituted for the millet.
If using a different grain, begin with only 2 cups of water and add additional water during cooking, if necessary.
