Herb Butter Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 cup (one stick) butter, at room temperature
1 tablespoon lemon juice
3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh herb (parsley, tarragon, rosemary or other or use one to three teaspoons dried herb, depending on its strength; to make garlic butter use finely minced garlic to taste)
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Directions
Cream the butter and beat in the lemon juice, a little at a time.
Beat in the herb and season with salt and pepper.
Chill, if desired.
