Herb Baked Fish & Rice Recipe
Herb baked fish and rice can be prepared with a fish of choice. Made with Italian seasoning and garlic powder for flavor, it the rice is coked with chicken bouillon. Along with broccoli, the herb baked fish also has cheese in it. Cooked with a dash of paprika, the fish and rice is baked till done and topped off with fried onions before finishing.
Ingredients
| 1 1/2 cups hot Chicken Bouillon | ||
| 1/2 cup uncooked regular rice | ||
| Italian seasoning | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Broccoli package | 1 , chopped | |
| Fried onions | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Parmesan cheese | 1 Tablespoon, grated | |
| 1 pound unbreaded fish fillets, thawed if frozen Paprika (optional) | ||
| Shredded Cheddar cheese | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°.
In 8xl2-inch baking dish, combine hot bouillon, uncooked rice and seasonings.
Bake, covered, at 375° for 10 minutes.
Top with broccoli, 1/2 can French Fried Onions and the Parmesan cheese.
Place fish fillets diagonally down center of dish; sprinkle fish lightly with paprika.
Bake, covered, at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork.
Stir rice.
Top fish with Cheddar cheese and remaining onions; bake, uncovered, 3 minutes or until onions are golden brown.
