Herb And Cheese Bread Recipe
|Sifted self rising flour/2 cups all-purpose flour sifted with 2 teaspoons baking powder||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Dry mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|Dried mixed herbs/1/2 tablespoon fresh mixed herbs||1⁄2 Teaspoon, chopped|
|Chopped parsley||1 Tablespoon|
|Grated strong cheddar cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , well beaten|
|Milk||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||2 Tablespoon, melted|

Sift the flour, salt and mustard into a bowl.
Stir in the herbs, parsley and grated cheese then add the egg, milk and melted butter and mix together thoroughly.
Spoon the mixture into the pan and bake in the center of a moderate oven (350°F) for 50-60 minutes until well risen and firm to the touch.
When the herb bread is cooked, carefully remove from the pan and cool on a cake rack.
