Heavenly Hot Chocolate Recipe
This heavenly hot chocolate is the best hot chocolate I have had till date. Made with cocoa powder and milk, it is sweetened to taste. Froth with a hand blender if desired and serve fresh!
Ingredients
1/2 cup skim milk
1/2 cup evaporated skim milk
1 1/4 teaspoons sugar
1 tablespoon Dutch process cocoa powder
1 teaspoon water
Directions
In a small heavy saucepan, combine the skim milk, evaporated skim milk, and sugar, and heat, uncovered, over low heat until the milk bubbles gently about 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, in an 8 ounce serving cup or mug, mix the cocoa powder with the water until it forms a thick paste.
When the milk is ready, slowly pour it into the cocoa paste, stirring until smooth.
