Ingredients

 Onion1/4 Cup (16 tbs), minced
 Butter/Margarine3 Tablespoon
 All-purpose flour -3 tablespoons
 Dry mustard1/4 Teaspoon
 Milk1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 American Cheese1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), shredded
 Chablis- 1/2 cup or other dry white wine
 Green onion tops2 Tablespoon, sliced
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 Pepper white1/4 Teaspoon

Directions

MAKING
1)In a heavy saucepan saute 1/4 cup onion in butter till it turns tender.
2)Add flour and mustard in the saucepan and stir it till smooth for a minute.
3)Slowly add milk to the mixture and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is thick and bubbly.
4)Further add cheese to the mixture and stir until cheese melts.
5)Also stir chablis or dry white wine,green onion,salt and white pepper into it.
SERVING
6)Sauce can be served with grill fish.
