Ingredients

 Frankfurters1/2 pound, thinly sliced
 Corn oil1 Tablespoon
 1 green pepper, cut into narrow strips
 Celery1/2 Cup (16 tbs), thinly sliced
 2 potatoes, cooked and diced
 Onion1/2 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped
 1/2 cup commercial French dressing
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/4 Teaspoon
 Head of lettuce1 , shredded
 Swiss Cheese1/4 Cup (16 tbs), cut into thin strips
 2 tomatoes, cut into thin wedges

Directions

Saute frankfurters in corn oil until lightly browned.
Remove from skillet and combine with green pepper, celery, potatoes, onion, French dressing, salt, and pepper.
Cover and chill.
Just before serving, add lettuce, cheese, and tomato wedges.
Toss gently to mix.
