Hearty Chicken Soup Recipe

Ingredients
| Water | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 16 ounce can tomatoes, cut up | ||
| 1 carrot, sliced (1/2 cup) | ||
| Onion | 1 Small, sliced | |
| Celery | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed | ||
| Bay Leaf | 1 | |
| 2 5 ounce cans boned chicken, cut up or 11/2 cups diced cooked chicken | ||
| 1 cup uncooked medium noodles | ||
| Sliced mushrooms | 1 3 Ounce, drained | |
Directions
In large saucepan combine water, tomatoes, sliced carrot, onion, celery, salt, thyme, and bay leaf.
Bring mixture to boiling; reduce heat.
Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes.
Remove bay leaf.
Stir in diced chicken, uncooked noodles, and drained mushrooms.
Boil gently, covered, till noodles are done, 8 to 10 minutes.
Makes 5 or 6 servings.
