Hearty Scotch Breakfast Recipe
Ingredients
| Quick cooking oats | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Rhubarb sauce 1/3 cup sweetened with honey | ||
| Raisins | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Walnuts 1/4 cup fairly finely chopped | ||
| Brown sugar 2 tablespoons or to taste | ||
| Margarine | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Unflavored yogurt 1/3 cup | ||
| Nutmeg dash | ||
Directions
Mix oats, water, salt, rhubarb sauce, and raisins in a saucepan.
Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally; cook 1 minute.
Remove from heat, cover pan, and let stand for a few minutes.
Stir in walnuts, brown sugar, and margarine.
Spoon yogurt over mixture and sprinkle with nutmeg.
